Meherana (meaning Come, Meher) is a 289-acre spiritual retreat center located in the Sierra Nevada foothills near Mariposa, CA and is just outside Yosemite National Park. Meherana currently has 2 major gatherings each year. Smaller retreats, including one for women, are also held during the year. Meherana is still under development and individuals wishing to visit should enquire (or inquire, if you prefer). Lodging in Mariposa is available for those who do not wish to camp.

Meherana is a universal center for spiritual renewal dedicated to Avatar Meher Baba and His principles of active love and service to both the Meher Baba community and all humanity. It is intended for the enhancement and strengthening of spiritual life, without supplanting professed religious convictions or beliefs.

The center is to be made available for Sahavas, meetings, and retreats, both group and individual; and for the development and support of service projects. It is to be organized and implemented according to democratic principles.

Meher Baba events are usually held from 8:00 to 9:30pm on Saturday nights. For directions and information, the center is located in beautiful El Cerrito adjacent to Berkeley.
